For the past month or two I've been telling myself I could handle the 50 miles and finish before the 14 hour cut off...if the weather didn't kill me.
I could cover the miles, talk myself through it and be okay...probably.
After the mid-80 temperatures we had last weekend I finally caved and checked the weather on Monday -- it said chance of rain and 60's. I can handle that. I don't mind ran and I like to play in the mud.
Today they're talking about wet, heavy snow...as in inches of it.
At the moment it's holding out until Saturday night, so I should be okay, but still. Seriously weather?!
Not only that, it was 85 last Sunday and supposed to dump inches of snow this Sunday. Well, hello there Colorado weather!
Snow is just cold rain! Really, really, cold, solid, rain! I don't even know how to talk to you about this, it's 90 here. I'm sorry, but you're going to kick ass. Everything crossed that it holds off until Sunday.
I hope the snow can hold off or stay away for you! In any case, I know you can do this. Go Heidi, go !! Now I suppose your other worry is what to wear.
I am really, really hoping with all my might that we get shit loads of snow, but not until Sunday night. I just want ONE SNOW DAY. JUST ONE. Ahem. Anyway, hopefully my wishes become reality!
