LOL It sucks, but over time, you don't notice it. Seriously, I don't notice the altitude/working out issues until I go hiking up into the mountains (like Glacier).
It must not be raining where you are, because its pouring like crazy where I live.

It's not, at the moment, but I think I'm just going to hit the hotel 'mill anyway because I have no idea where to go around here.
Ahhh, my grandparents retired in Montana - I love it there. So beautiful.
We adapt to the altitude over time - it is no joke if you aren't used to it. Drink plenty, plenty, plenty. If you're headachy, drink more water and pop some advil! The sun is more intense at altitude as well.

What city are you staying in (if you feel ok sharing)? I'm not originally from Montana, so I'm not too familiar with anywhere outside of Great Falls (where I live). If your here I could recommend good places to run. Outside of that I'm no help
Just enjoy the scenery and focus on that over your lack of air that's what I do. Haha

We're in Billings for a wedding, just til Sunday. I'm going to ask the hotel desk and try to get outside tomorrow morning. I just did 2 at a reasonable pace on the treadmill and felt fine, aside from the normal treadmill hate. kams, definitely hydrating - mostly because there's going to be a lot of boozing and I'll regret it if I don't!

Definitely ask the front desk. I'm sure they could recommend something. Billings in the biggest city in MT so I'm sure they'll have a nice bike path or something.
We like Billings, it has Olive Garden We miss that from back home and I think its the only one in the state.
