Because I just have to AW my morning run!
I woke up at 3:30 am (jet lag) and checked the weather and air quality. 63 degrees, low humidity, sunrise at 4:57, and air quality under 100. Laced up and headed out to a seriously gorgeous day on the Qingdao waterfront.
There were lots of older people out (at 5:30am!!) stretching, fishing, yelling...
The sailing events for the 2008 Olympics were held here and I ran all the way around to the sailing center and marina. P.s. This was my first run since Sunday's half, felt great!
From my 18 mile run yesterday. I ventured out farther into the "country" than usual and found amazing views. Also so many hills....so many painful hills. lol

And so desolate.
That too. lol But thats this area of the country for you! IRL the view is much better though. You can't see the mountains much in the pictures.
This was my w.o.d. after meeting a deadline at 430, after a week of 14 hour workdays. App won't let me load photos, but it was a white I.p.a. at a tiny craft brewery on my way home. Complete with an Irish band playing on the patio. Perfect!

This was from a week or two ago. Made up for getting rained on for the 1st 2 miles lol. Not the best pic but trying to do a panoramic to fit the whole rainbow in. Hard to see in the picture but it was a really bright double rainbow that stayed around for like 20+ mins of my run along the waterfront.

It was crazy! It rained hard for the 1st two miles and right before I made the turn for the waterfront the sun came out. By the time I made it around the corner it had just started. Took me forever to finish my run, I kept stopping every few feet to take pictures because it just kept getting brighter and deeper lol.
I don't have any PIPs now, but my box was taking professional photos of today's WOD to update the website - so I may have something to add at some point! Eek.
Killer crossfit WOD completed! Holy smokes I'm exhausted! The WOD looked like this:
400m run 3 rounds of: 2 rope climbs 10 power snatches 10 pull ups 15 box jumps 15 kettle bell swings 30 double unders Finish with a 400m run
