Happy Monday!

The weekend was busy. We're getting the house in order for the rental inspection, and we had MIL over for Mother's Day dinner -- Chicken & Noodles, Pull-Apart Bread, and Molasses Oat Cookies, and everything was made from scratch, including the noodles. I was proud of the meal. Today was more house cleaning and tap class tonight.

QOTD: DH has all his stuff from his parent's house and I would love to get that stored somewhere other than our living room floor. Other than that I want to read more and perfect stewed apples, and I want to try making my own tortillas.

Weekend was good! We were in Vienna for vacation last week, so we spent the weekend traveling back to Doha. It was an amazing trip though!

Today is nothing exciting - working all day, then home to relax and hopefully finish unpacking!

QOTD: I have a few projects! We have a lot of clothes that no longer fit us, and there are tons of bins to donate them, so I really want to clean out our closets and donate everything we're not wearing!!
My other project is Zumba related :-P I just got certified for both Zumba Sentao and Step, and it's my goal to put both classes together this summer, so that come Fall I can offer new formats for my Zumba students!

Happy Monday! Just a usual weekend here, running, paddle boarding, and hanging out in the pool with DD.

QOTD: I have been saving my wine corks for a while and I finally have enough to do a craft with them. I have been all over Pinterest trying to find the perfect thing. I thought it would be a huge cork board, but I just saw this wine cork coffee table and an awesome woven wine cork vase... Big decisions. I need to lay them out to see just how big four jam packed freezer bags of corks is!

Our dog walker took our dog with him to a show to do demo work, so we had the ability to do whatever...and so we travelled south of the river (London) about an hour to try out a pub. It was okay but I also got to see a friend who lives in south London which was great. It was nice that we didn't have to rush home to take out the dog or have to walk him in the pouring rain.

Nothing going on today other than work. I also did a bit of cleaning in our kitchen (our cleaner is off for three weeks so I've been tackling a room or two at a time each day). My DH is out tonight with a friend so I'm cooking a vegetarian lentil dish which he'd like but wouldn't be looking forward to the way I am.

QOTD: a few - I have to write a 10,000 word paper for my Oxford programme. I'd like to also clear out the back garden of weeds, wash and replace all the stones (we have a decorative edge) and we'll find a company to do our loft in the autumn.
