What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sunday rest, Mon circuit training, Tues 4 miles, Wed sprints, Thurs 6 miles, Fri Rest, Sat 12-13 miles
Any injuries or problems? Horrible allergies that are making my lungs want to explode with every breath I take
Highlights from last week? Despite my allergies and my slow speed I had a great long run
How do you like the new board? Still getting used to it...I cannot seem to set up a "signature" or bold my responses at all, but I had problems with that on TN too.
What event are you training for? NYCM in Nov. I plan to sign up for a couple other races in the Summer/Fall, but our weekends are already booking up fast.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? M-rest (sick), T- 5-6 with BOB if rain holds off, if not TM!, W- 6-7 with speed work, Th- shooting for 10 with the BOB, will be my long run for the week, Fri-Sun- up in the air, we have company in town
Any injuries or problems? The next month is crazy busy, and after this week there is no pre-school for DS (which accounted for 2 runs/week)
Highlights from last week? Ran a 5k, and finished 1st in the 30-39 ag
What event are you training for/date? Next event will probably be RNR Half Marathon over Labor Day, then the Marine Corps Marathon in October
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon- 3M + Strength, Tues - 4M, Wed - 8 x 200, Thur - 3M + Strength, Fri- Rest, Sat - 7M, Sun - 40 min fartlek

Highlights from last week? 6 mile tempo @ 8:29 and felt great! my goal is a 1:53 half so it boosted my confidence a bit - i haven't done formal speed work in 5 years!!!
How do you like the new board? i wish the topics didn't get bumped as they are read. i like to pop in quickly and breeze though the posts. other than that it's good. but i still can't add a siggy pic that doesn't take up the whole page.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? *this is week 1 of training for my next race, I am horrible at following a schedule, but am making more effort this time Mon weights Tues track Wed off Thurs weights (maybe 3 mile run) Fri off or 3mile run if not done Thurs Sat 5 mile run Sun off
Any injuries or problems? *nope, but I feel like I may need to get adjusted soon. My hips like to get wonky on me and cause other issue when I ramp up my milage.
Highlights from last week? *had an easy week, a fun local 5k and picnic on Thurs night - it was crowded, but the weather was great
What event are you training for/date? Nothing at the moment. Ultimately Marine Corps Mararhon with the possibility of some other races between now and then.

Highlights from last week? Ran on The Mall for the first time since moving to DC.
How do you like the new board? The board itself is fine. I think it is unfortunate that The Nest boards all moved off to different forums.

What event are you training for/date?
Fargo Marathon - on Saturday!!!! I'm a bit worried because its supposed to be almost 80 degrees on Saturday, and the full doesn't start until 8:15, but I'm sure I'll be fine :-)

Just a 4 mile run Monday and 3 on Wednesday. The just rest and more rest!

What event are you training for/date? Nothing at the moment. I have some OWS coming up, but nothing major for another month+
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Yesterday was group fitness class and a treadmill walk, today is rest, tomorrow is swimming, thursday is swimming, friday is spinning and group fitness, then a treadmill workout, saturday we may go hiking ...
Any injuries or problems? None.
Highlights from last week? Hit the lake for the first non-race OWS of the year. Hot dang, it felt cold - even though it was in the 60s
I'm training for my first half marathon that takes place this Saturday. I ran six last night and now resting/stretching till race day!
I ran a 12k last Sunday that was way hillier than I'm used to. I ran it hard and met my goal, but my quads and IT bands have been tight since...so I'm working on that before race day.
Hilight from last week was running my 12k in 1:19:25. Just under my 1:20 goal time .
I like the new board. I think it's amazing how fast TN vacated!
What event are you training for/date? I'm training for a 5K in September.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? I have a workout with my trainer tomorrow. And I'm working on week 4 of C25K. I plan to get three runs in before Sunday, though I haven't scheduled them quite yet.
Any injuries or problems? My foot is a little sore. Hurts the most when I'm going up and down stairs. I think it's a work shoe issue. It's not stopping me yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it.
Highlights from last week? Eh, not much. I'm having an off month. Getting back on track this week.

What event are you training for/date? Not training for anything right now. Recently finished couch to 5k, and then promptly got the stomach bug, so building back up to 3.1 miles.

Highlights from last week? I've already decided it is too hot and humid in DC for me to run after work. So I've started getting up before work to run. "Before work" means 4:30am. I'm proud that I've been sticking with it, even though it has only been a week.
