Sorry for a million questions about this, I'm trying to work out (and test out on long workouts) all the details of what I'm going to wear for my HIM in June.
Did you ever try a 2nd size in Coeur tri shorts? I want to get another tri kit from them because the one I have is so comfortable that I don't want to wear a lot of my other tri stuff - but I am debating whether to get the same size shorts again, or size up. I ordered them in M last time, which is my usual size. They fit pretty well, but they have kind of a low-ish cut, and hug my little muffin top in an unflattering way. (If they had a higher rise like some of my other shorts it'd cover it, no problem.)
I'm debating whether to try the L or not. The M stays put and is perfectly comfortable, it's my vanity thinking about the L. Not knowing how big a difference they have between sizes, I'm having a hard time guessing. WDYT?
I wore the kit on Sat for a bike/run brick with a sunny mid-day 9 mile run, so I think I am comfortable that the top + glide = no chafing. One more thing I can check off my list of criteria
I have a small and a medium. When I hold them up next to each other, the medium is smaller than the small, lol! I would email kebby - she is amazing and so helpful. They've changed their sizes, so I don't really know what the best bet is.
Mine do the same thing in my mid section though Both sizes.
Wish I could be a bit more helpful. I really do love them though. I raced in the kit yesterday and people loved it! I felt very fashionable
Hmm. Thanks for the feedback. If the larger shorts don't fix the problem for you maybe I'll just stick w/ the mediums -- since there is no drawstring I don't want to risk them coming down in the swim! But I will email her and just see what she suggests.
I ordered a new pair of my club's tri shorts, and IF they come in time, and IF I like them, I might wear them with a plain black Coeur tri top -- that is my hopeful compromise since my tri club doesn't do racerback tops for women. But I'm also planning in case I don't like the club shorts as much and/or they don't arrive in time.
