Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

There is an incredible sense of accomplishment on those two-a-day days...especially when you tell other people and see their faces. It's not why we do this, but damn, its a good perk!

But I'm training hard because a) I want to do well and b) I'm doing the entire swim series - 3k on Friday, 500m and 1500m on Saturday, and 5k and 1k on Sunday. I want to be adequately prepared for swimming hard 3 days and 5 events in a row.
Is this the one down here? If so I'm coming to cheer you on! BTW I tried swimming laps in the pool this past weekend a and seriously thought to myself: I have got to get L down here to teach me to swim properly. Any interest in another date?

It's in Oregon, near Bend. You're welcome to come along.
I'm considering a couple races in SF, but FYI - open water swimming is possibly the most boring spectator sport in the history of ever. I'd rather watch golf. You see people swim away from you, then you see them come back. They're all wearing almost the exact same thing, so it's hard to tell who is who ... yeah. Boring. LOL
I'd be happy to help you! Let me know when, though - I'm pretty busy this time of year.
