I am primarily working off of the CollegeBoard.com list off books to read before college (although I am a few years too late, haha). I've made more progress this summer than I have in the past couple of years combined. It was basically the first list I found so I used it as a basis. Once I finish that I will be looking to a new list.
Of course, I read a lot of books that are not on the list, too. I like having a concise list of classics to make sure that I am reading some of those for professional development reasons, as well as "funner" stuff.

I don't have a set list I want to read. I just read what I feel like reading. I did set a goal to read 24 books this year. I keep track of what I read and what I want to read on goodreads.
I just read whatever. I set a goal of 112 books for the year and Goodreads tells me I'm 12% ahead of schedule, so I guess it hasn't ended up being much of a challenge. I like having a numbers goal because it encourages me to spend more time reading and less time watching TV or drifting aimlessly online.
I don't have a list right now aside from what I have on my to-read shelf on goodreads. Although now I want to check out the collegeboard.com list to see what's on it. I haven't been adding my reviews to my blog, but I think I'll start.

I had a numerical goal of 100 last year and I didn't like doing it that way. I read 107 but I picked a lot of shorter books and more YA so that I'd get to that number and shied away from longer books which I tend to like more. This year I am just reading whatever I want and I'm enjoying it so much more. I am also trying to pull more books from the 1001 Books To Read Before You Die type of lists and choosing more Non-Fiction.

I've set a goal of 125. I'm a bit behind as I'm only at 60 for the year. I've been at my parents for 2.5 months while DH was away doing military training and it slowed my pace way down. I'm going home tomorrow so I can start catching up. I've been tracking on goodreads.

Picking off the list used to really mess me up, too. That's why in the first three years I read about 20 books off of the list. Actually, several of them were completed before I even got the list so that number should be even lower. Now I have a sort of combo of goal and not goal reading. I am trying to have one book off of my list going at a time that I usually give myself about 2 weeks to finish plus another book that I choose just for fun. If the book is longer I give myself longer (I try to make the average classic reading between 20-50 pages a day). It is working a lot better for me. In the past two months I have read 10 books, five of which were off of my list. I like it a lot better because it is only takes 30-60 minutes to get my classic reading done and then I can move on to something I like better. I still get dense stuff accomplished, but it doesn't feel like a chore. I often end up reading more than I have planned for the day. Of course, I'm only working about 20 hours a week right now and not taking classes, so we'll see if I keep up the pace once I add on classes/volunteering/extra work hours.

I'm not working on anything in particular. I like to look at those different lists of books that everyone should read or whatnot for ideas, but I pick and choose from them rather than chaining myself to a list that somebody else dreamed up.
My official GR goal for the year is 100, but I don't really pay that much attention to it.
I liked the premise of the seasonal challenges on the old board. I liked the way that they encouraged me to pick books a little out of my comfort zone while still giving me the flexibility to pick the specific titles for myself.
Last September, I started reading all book mentioned or referenced (or seen) in all 7 seasons of Gilmore girls. I found an existing list online and have modified it before I start each episode so it's more accurate.

I set a GR goal of 150 books this year, but I've already read 104 so it looks like I set mine a little too low.
I found that I was reading a lot of 'easy' fiction earlier this year so I put down my kindle for a few weeks and made myself read about 20 nonfiction books from the library (I picked 20 so that when I looked at the books read for my challenge the first page would be entirely non-fiction when I hit that number.) It was a good way to reset and slow down a bit and I ended up reading some amazing books.

No list, no goal, just whatever I happen to want to read. I do have some reads that I have to do for reviews, and those are published under my real name.

My goal is 25 books, but I'm ahead of schedule (18 so far). I keep track of them on shelfari.com and a widget on my blog. No list, just whatever I'm in the mood for.
I would like to hit 50 but I don't set actual goals. I find if I say my goal is 50 then I worry more about hitting the number and tend to shy away from longer/time consuming books that might prevent me from reaching it. I don't have a blog or a certain list that I work from.
My GR goal is 50. This is the first time I've ever set a goal mainly to motivate me to read the pile of books I keep buying but haven't gotten around to reading yet. I generally read whatever I'm in the mood for but I think I'll start using a few different lists to broaden my book selection.
I don't do quantity goals. People have asked me if I'm going to put a time limit on my challenge... I wont due it. I'm estimating that it'll take me 7 years. But I am not giving myself a deadline.

I read whatever is interesting to me at the time. I tend to rotate fiction and non. I just finished Columbine, which took longer that I thought. My goal is 100 for the year, and I am about 2 behind right now.

I don't have much of a goal beyond making sure I'm reading. Lately, I've been sucking wind at making time for books, but summer can be that way, either I'm reading a ton or doing everything but reading

My only goal is to read 50 books this year. My original goal was 75 since that's what I did last year but I've found that I don't have as much time to read with 2 little ones in the house as I did with just one.
As for what specific books I've chosen to read, it's pretty random. I'm just working off of my TBR list on GR and checking out whatever books from that list are available from the library.
