Hi!
I've been lurking for awhile and finally got up the courage to post. I lurked in the nest and quietly came here. I've decided to stop being a creepster and join the fun

Welcome. Tell us a bit more about you. What do you read? Are you a bookmark user or a dog-earer? Do you keep the dustjackets on hardcovers while you read them? Do you collect books or give them away once you've read them? Do you prefer real books or are you an e-reader? If you had to recommend one book to every new person you met, what book would it be?

Sorry. Getting ready for a flight home tomorrow. Didn't mean to post and run . I'm 26, a military wife, and we have an 18 month old named Dahlia. I'm a SAH but I plan on going to school for nursing very soon. I'll read just about anything and everything but I over all I do prefer literature. I had the most amazing high school lot teacher that fed my love for reading and for reading good books. I'm not a book snob though. I do enjoy fluff from time to time but I'm not much of a chick-lit reader, but I'll read everything from Stephen King to YA to Jane Austen. I do really enjoy non-fiction as well.
I have a nook and I prefer it for convenience but when I'm home I'm usually at the library very week getting new things to read, I definitely enjo reading on a real book more. For some reason it feels more real to me. I'm a bookmark used. I HATE when my books get bent or messed up.
I don't give away my books but I unfortunately don't own that many so the ones I do have I treasure. And I'll have to think of what book I'd recommend. That's a tough one
