Breaking Bad: Season 5 (spoilers)

I'm so glad Mike is back! I hope he features prominently in this season. I love Jesse's split devotion to Mike & Walt. That's definitely going to create some conflict for future episodes. Mike was the one who noticed the duck tape was loose at Jesse's old place when his girlfriend OD'ed - I wonder if he put 2 + 2 together?

This episode felt a little like the ones from season 1 and 2 - I loved the science-teacher like experiment with the magnet.

Skylar will be such a hypocrite if she's majorly judging Walt after she played the intimidation card with Beneke. She reminds me a bit of Carmella Soprano.

As for the end of the episode - creepiest hug ever?

I literally said "oh hell no he didn't!" after Walt said, "I forgive you". Love this show!

Even worse I thought! It was so creepy it was uncomfortable to watch.

I absolutely love this show but the first two episodes haven't done much for me. It's almost like Walt is TOO evil...I don't know.

At the end I told DH I feel like Skylar is going to expose Walt to the DEA.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. I also think the first episode with him in the diner looking all disheveled with the fake ID is because he finally had to use that guy that would make him disappear.

I think Skylar will break down and tell Marie, which will end up with Hank finding out. I wonder if Hank would be willing to give Walt a head start to get out of town, before notifying the DEA. I could see Hank being conflicted between taking down the legendary "Heisenberg" and arresting his own family member.

I wonder if Hank already knows. He said he took a peek at the laptop and I saw an unsettled look on his face.

do you guys think the opening scene from episode one is how the series will end, or just the mini-season this year ends?
