I'm trying to suss out some symptoms. I'm very early and I'm keeping my normal schedule...5-6 mile runs, 2 mile swims a few times a week, and spin. Some elliptical. I've been feeling pain in my back and hip. I didn't work out my last pregnancy, so I don't know what's normal. Like, maybe this just comes with the territory when you work out pregnant? Can anyone share their experience with me? I'm obsessing. Sorry.
I had some pubic bone issues when I ran from things stretching. This is usually what tends to bother me though so I knew to take a couple days off and then I would be ok. General achy, things feel sore, muscular feeling I feel would be pretty normal and to not get too worried about. Of course, I would clear this with your OB. It's weird but I can't remember being in too much discomfort (other than the pubic bone pain) but I do remember feeling out of sorts from time to time. Then again, pregnancy is one big "out of sorts" Also everyday is so different. You may wake up tomorrow feeling like a million bucks!

Like you, I had two, a miscarriage and now a 3rd that's staying around for a while With my m/c it was a BO so I never felt super pregnant and kept up my normal workouts without feeling too different. This go round, the symptoms, especially the tiredness and morning sickness kicked into full effect by five/six weeks. I think I might have felt off during that time too, but I can't really remember. So I think if you're prone to early symptoms (like m/s) and those kick in during the normal time frame, I'd focus on that being the sign of a good pregnancy.
Listen to your body. Some days will feel better than others, and some activities will feel better than others.
I ran and swam my entire pregnancy with varying degrees of speed and distance. Just don't push too hard.
And-congrats!!
All of the above. And also, try not to stress if you DON'T feel super pregnant. I had a dreamy first trimester which sounds great in theory but I was constantly stressed that something was wrong because I never had MS, my energy level was super high, etc. You really can't win in first tri.
Some pain in the back and hip are normal, in my experience. If I remember what I read correctly when I was obsessively researching pregnancy a few years ago, when you're pregnant the body releases chemicals/hormones/whatever that loosen up your joints which may explain why you are more sore than normal after your regular fitness activities.
