I don't really have that much to share. I'm less than 1 month away from my race. I've had some bad long runs along the way and some mediocre ones too. I'm hoping they will all add up to an awesome race day!
I'm still struggling to find the holy grail of running shorts. I have three pairs arriving today from Brooks that I'm hoping will be "the pair."

I don't really have a lot to share yet. Other than YAY I'M HERE! I registered for my training group but don't start official training until June 7, although I'm trying to make sure I'm getting out there and getting some miles in the meantime.
I need new shoes, my current ones aren't going to last me through training and I want to be able to rotate the new ones in. I think I'm going to get some this weekend, or I might wait until next Tuesday, we have our group celebration for completing the run we trained for so I'll be at the store anyway. I also need to find some new shorts. The ones I had last year are too big now and I only had one pair that I really liked anyway. They're compression under and shorts over but the compression shorts are riding up now (they kind of rode up slowly to begin with, but now that my legs are smaller they are big time). I need to find something new.
I'm working on getting my diet in order. I know this half will be so much easier if I lose some weight. I had a kale salad with turkey for lunch and I'm having steak and vegetable for dinner.
I have a half Sunday. I've never done this one before so I'm looking forward to it.
I've been feeling great, except since Monday my left hamstring has been so tight/sore that I'm hoping its not an issue during the race. I did 9 miles yesterday and it bugged me off and on, especially the last few miles. Not enough to cut the run short, just annoying and I don't want to make it worse by continuing to push it. So I've been icing/stretching/foam rolling the crap out of it the past few days and hope it loosens up soon.

I'm stillll in china for meetings and have completely lost track of time. I think I have been gone 8 days and have 9 left. Guess that makes today Hump day of my trip! Not signed up for another half so nothing to report there.
Training has gone okay, not brilliant. Have done 13.1 twice over the last two weekends. Ideally I'd like about three more weeks to give this a better shot, but my medical situation hasn't really allowed for it
A close friend of mine back home in Oz is going through an ever tougher time than me medically so I'm running this one for her.
I have the Wildwood half this Sunday, it is my favorite place to be in the summer so I am hoping tht's enough motivation to get me through it and reach my goal of 2:05. Training this winter really stunk and the longest I ran was 10 miles last week and that was the Broad Street Run. I am not as prepared as I would like to be but am trying to stay positive, hoping to get a good 5miles in tonight to reassure myself.

This is pretty much the same for me, word for word The Wildwood Half this Sunday will be my first half ever, so my primary goal is to finish strong. My secondary goal is 2:10. My longest run before Broad Street was 11 miles, so I'm not feeling super confident. I also felt a tweak in my knee after that race so I'm hoping I can run this one without it becoming an issue.
Mine is a week from Sunday and I am freaking out!!!
Freak out from excitement, I hope?!
Partial lurker coming out. I have my first half a week from Sunday and I'm both exited and anxious. I have my last long run to get in tomorrow (12miles) which will be the longest I've ever run in my life. Last week I had a great 11 mile run but since then it's been very hot and humid. I had two bad runs since so I'm hoping for the best.
The one thing I'm worried about is that one of my friends that I am running with hasn't trained at all and I think she's going to mess with my mojo becuase she's very negative already about the race. I will really need to tune her out or just plain old leave her
