I just had my 12 week appointment (actually at 13 weeks and 3 days). At the appointment, we scheduled my u/s at 20 weeks... and I was told I won't have another appointment until then unless I want it.
I'm fairly certain the first time around I had a 16 week appointment, but things could have changed in the past 2+ years. Or, possibly, they just don't have this appointment for STM as there's not much to do other than monitor weight gain at that point?
I'm just curious to know if this is the norm. I probably won't schedule anything... although I can imagine I'll start to worry before the u/s...

I did my 12 wk NT scan and the Dr said he didn't need to see me until 17/18 weeks to run the a/s and tri/quad screen. I thought that they were more frequent too (from the last one, I thought I went monthly until sometime late 2nd tri...) but maybe they changed the rules? Or maybe since were STM it's not as big of a deal?
I'm a first-timer, but I've had appts every 4 weeks with additional appts for NT and A/S.
This is my appt. schedule as well.
x3.
But most of the appointments have just been check-ins. I pee in a cup, get weighed, they listen to the heartbeat on Doppler, and ask how I'm doing. The non-ultrasound appointments have been very uneventful so far.
I had a blood draw at 16 weeks (triple screen). They also weighed me and collected a urine sample. I was also on the schedule of every four weeks until 28 weeks, so 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28.

I had an appt at 13 weeks and 17 weeks, then my a/s at 19w6d. They wanted me to be at least 19w before they did the a/s, so they had me come in for an appt in between. If it had only been 5 weeks in between I would not have had another appt.

Maybe it's a STM thing... with my first (at the same practice) I got the book with appointment schedule and all of that. I even had to go to a mini-class going over all the screening options and setting up the first appointment... It's true that most of the appointments don't really do anything, so I'm not too concerned that I'll miss an important screening or something.
This time I've kind of felt like I've been pulling teeth for some of the information. Like they do "centering" sessions now, and no one said anything until I brought up the poster I saw in the lobby. (turns out the centering group was full - and appointments would be 2 hours - so I wasn't interested. I just wanted to know what it is!)
I saw an RE, so I went to her for betas at 4 weeks, and bloodwork and an u/s at 6, 8, 10, and my NT scan at 12.5 weeks. My first OB appt is just past 15 weeks and I'm guessing my next appt after that will be my anatomy scan at 19-20 weeks.

Ditto all this. Though my nt and a/s have worked out to fall on the every 4 week schedule. I did start having add'l u/s and NST tests starting last week (34w) because I'm on lovenox. I think I'll be doing those weekly or every other week from here on out.

I had a 16 week one as well. It was the second part of the bloodwork for the NT scan, then just a normal appointment. My a/s fell on my normal schedule and the initial NT scan was a separate appointment. I wish i got a listing of when all my appointments would be done in the beginning, its been a guessing game. i do know that I have my last 4 weeks apointment coming up, then its every 2.
At my 16 ish week appointment there was nada. Not even a pee test. They weighed me and checked my blood pressure and then checked baby with doppler. Nothing else.

I just scheduled my 16 week appointment, they said they will do blood work for thyroid (I went hypothyroid when I got PG), babies blood type, and for the NT scan. They had to wait for the last two because I conceived twins, and they want to make sure the second sac has reabsorbed completely so it won't interfere with the tests.
I assume it will also be pee in a cup, weight, and doppler as well.
Huh. That seems weird. It should be every 4 weeks in the beginning. I had my NT scan at 12. Regular appointment at 16 where they checked fetal heart beat with doppler, my blood pressure, and urine- quick. Then that same day I did have bloodwork for the sequential screen.
