Weight Lifting Gloves or Cycling gloves with no padding

Talk to me about weight lifting gloves. Do they have any padding in them? Do you think they could be used for cycling? What is your favorite kind?

I'm looking for some cycling gloves with NO padding. I hate padding. My hands are small, and padding makes it hard to wrap my hands around the handlebars if it's too thick.

I have some older Pearl Izumis with a leather palm & no padding, and I think I've finally bought the last ones online. Giro makes a zero padding glove for men, but they are hot in the summer. I have a pair and don't care for them.

Any suggestions?

I love the Hincapie (sp?) gloves you sent one once upon a time btw. I lost one and I'm devastated. It's got to be around somewhere though.

I can verify that my lifting gloves are almost exactly the same as my (non-padded) cycling gloves.

My lifting gloves are just the cheapest ones I could find at my local sporting goods store.

Dicks. Sports Authority. Some place like that should be fine. I don't think you need to be fitted at your LLS.
