There is surf here this weekend! And it is my weekend now since we work Sunday - Thursday here. I have a cleaning crew coming tomorrow to make my house not look like a gang of frat boys live here. I'm getting my hair highlighted while the cleaning people are here. H and I will run a few times this weekend and HE will push Bob! (He was in Europe this week so I was on full time Bob duty.)
It's going to be a long [and unfortunately BUSY] day today...and all I want to do is take a freaking nap.
I ran this AM -- 7 miles in sub-9 pace, which is stupid -- and now I'm fighting the urge to just crawl under my desk to sleep.
I do get a 4 day weekend starting at exactly 5pm, but it starts with a freaking 16 hour drive from CO to WI which starts at 9pm tonight.
It's a good thing I'm back on caffeine...
Tell me about your day. And your weekend. And anything exciting in your life. Or, whine, so I feel less whiney!
Yikes. I agree with runaways. If someone else can drive first, you could take the Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha shift (assuming you go that route) which is much easier to stay awake for! Before we moved, H and I used to do that drive all the time and he'd have to drive that shift or I wouldn't get any sleep because I'd have to keep him awake.

We technically could wait until like 3am to leave [stupid wedding rehearsal] but it's SO much easier to just NE at night, that state is so boring! DH is with, so we'll see about driving, tho I completely suck at sleeping in the car. I should be a bundle of smiles once we hit WI!
This is me. I have been at a work conference since Tuesday, and it's AMAZING, but I am sleepy. I barley stayed awake on the two hour drive home. The drive home also included a pit stop to take a quick nap b/c I was falling asleep while driving.

Ha! That's exactly why we always left after work and drove overnight!
