DH has a hard on for one of those locations and to be perfectly honest he will probably get voluntold for one of them anyhow. I know there's a possibly of a 1 year unaccompanied to a different location but since it hasn't been mentioned to him yet, I won't have it as a voting option.
I went to Singapore for work last September - it was awesome! I'd totally go back! It was easy to get around with just English, too, in case that matters.
Also, I'd be cautious about Greece right now. Things have been pretty unsettled there with the austerity measures for a while now...

Now that I see some votes. DH likes Singapore best. He sends me demographic and tourism factoids about it once a week. My favorite is Spain. I guess because we've known a lot of people who enjoyed visiting there. I'm not even convinced that the Greece billet is accompanied. DH thinks that just because it's two years it must be accompanied but I disagree.

But of course I spoke too soon. Today he came home telling me about the one year IA billets. There are two that he is aware of and one that he says is likely pretty good for his career.
Edit: I should add that if the other people who have recently finished the same internship that DH is working on are any indication, he will be told exactly where to go and will receive multiple orders modifications within months of moving. With 14 months still left on his current tour it's likely we haven't even seen the name of where we will actually go.
And I totally should have read the whole thread first.
My H has been chosen for something similar. We know the language and region, DEROS is up in just over a month, and they still haven't given us a timeline for training.

Unless he needs to take a seminar that is region specific (cultural stuff?) he shouldn't need any additional training beyond the internship program he is doing right now. He also says that he could get voluntold to do it anyhow so might as well nab the one that he likes better and then wait and see if he gets to keep it or if the needs of the Navy locate something else more immediate. Somehow he already managed to find out that for $45/month he could have internet in his container that is good enough for Skype so it sounds like a pretty reasonable gig. I mean, and getting to pre-negotiate his follow-on orders.
