Do you keep things that are not your current size? I bought a bunch of things post partum but my dd is 18 mos and happily they don't fit. Do you keep things in several sizes?
This is the bane of my existence at the moment My girls are 4, 3, and 5 months old right now. I had been keeping all the clothes, too big and too small until we knew we were done having babies. Now that we are, I've gone through and purged all of the too small stuff that I wouldn't wear again when\if I got to that size anyway. Just things that were dated or just not my style anymore. I only keep sizes I'm in and smaller and as things get too big I'm letting them go. There might be a handful of things I'll have sized down by a tailor though if they're pieces I really love.
I would say, if you're going to have more kiddos, it might be worth hanging onto but if not, get rid of that big stuff so you won't have that option if your 'normal' sizes become too snug
I'm dealing with this right now! I've lost about 20 lbs and still going. All of my jeans and summer dresses are too big. I have some bags packed up to give away or donate. I don't want to keep them because I don't want the option of fitting in them again. I am a bit scared to get rid of them though....
I still have all my clothes from before I was pregnant. Once I fit into them again, I will go through them and get rid if the ones I don't want anymore. And te clothes I'm wearing now will be burned...or given away. I'm done having kids, so hopefully I won't need them again.

This is what Weight Watchers encourages. Lose the weight and get rid of your bigger clothes. That way you can't fall back on them if you start to gain again.
I know for me, buying a bigger size is a wake-up call that makes me lose a few pounds. I can't speak to having kids and being different sizes because of that though.
I have also discovered that when I've kept too small sizes, it may take years to be back in them again and by the time I have lost weight I want new clothes anyway!

I'm on weight watchers. I have talked to friends that have lost significant amounts of weight and they say to get rid of the bigger clothes. Im kind of kicking myself that I got rid of a lot of my smaller clothes when I thought I'd never wear them again. Oh well!
I don't know about the pregnancy and post pregnancy issue either, but it sounds like a challenge.

I don't have enough storage space to hold on to things that don't fit. I've tried to. I've lost/regained/relost SO MUCH WEIGHT. I held on to things so long that when I finally lost enough weight to wear them, they looked ridiculous (from a bygone era) and I ended up purging them anyway.
