Does that mess anything up?
I know it happens once in a while, but today I ate about 700 less than I "planned" to with MFP. I wasn't hungry at snack times and am not now. Normally I very much want to snack. Does it mess up my metabolism - enough that I should go eat something just to get the calories?
It's just about the same as eating too much once in a while, right? FTR, I did have 2 beers last night, putting me over yesterday's plan (and today I ran, so some of my extra allowed are from that.)

I think it depends on what happens the rest of the week--you may find that tomorrow you are extra hungry and have a slice of pie that covers the calories--or that throughout the weekend you eat more.
700 cal is a fair amount, and I would *guess* tomorrow you will be more hungry and it will balance out.
If it happens all the time I would look into it more.

Definitely not the norm for me! Which is why I started back up on MFP. I tend to eat a lot of things and think (in the moment) it's all good as long as it's healthy. Just checking if it would be better to get all the calories in today. I'm sure I'll be average for the week:) I'm working pretty hard at getting back into running and eating well and I didn't want to work against myself.
Maybe you just weren't hungry today? If it's once every other week or two, don't worry about it. If it becomes daily, I'd think about consulting a doctor. There are days when you just aren't hungry and don't want to eat. I think it happens to everyone.

Aaand now I'm in bed and starving. So I guess that answers that. Normally if I run, it's early in the am. Perhaps my afternoon run and water messed with my hunger signals today.
