Do you leave it open after you shower or do you close it?
E and I were having this discussion last night. I close it. I think it helps it dry better and it looks better. E leaves it open because he's afraid of being ambushed from someone hiding in the shower.

I close it. After I hide in the shower.
I'm with you. I like to close it so it has an opportunity to dry. I generally leave a small gap toward the front (toilet side and furthest from the door) but I don't like the shower to be seen. The curtain is decorative, the shower not so much.

Closed. I think it looks messy when its open. Also, the liner is wet and we live in the south, so everything molds if its not aired out. Haven't had an issue with moldy shower walls.
The one in the guest bathroom is generally closed, although it is open right now because I have some crap in the tub from cleaning out the car. The one in our bathroom is generally open, because we just don't care, and I haven't noticed that it makes a difference. Its like half open. I would probably close it, but I doubt I could get DH to remember, and TBH its not a big deal to me. My decor is not fancy or anything, so its not ruining the "look" or anything.

I have no preference. I think right now it's open. Sometimes I close it. The window is in the shower, so sometimes I like to see the light. Sometimes I close it, like if I have a guest. But, generally, I pay absolutely no attention to it.
Even in Hawaii I've never had mildew. Probably because that window is always open.
