i'm an occasional runner I comfortably run 3 miles three or four days a week. I'd like to run a 10K coming up on June 14. With upping my miles do you think it's a feasible goal?

Sure, you can do it. I'd just add a longer run to one of your weekend running days--say a 5 or a 6 miler. You might need to run it much slower than your other runs but it will help you build up to the race distance.
