How do you know when LO is ready to drop a feeding? DD is 8 months old and gets 6 feedings per day (7a, 9:30a, 12p, 3p, 6p, 7:30p). She also gets a couple snacks a daycare, and eats dinner with us.
DD's pedi said that we should be doing basically 3 meals/day by 9 months, plus maybe a bottle/nurse before bed. I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to drop 2 feedings over the next month.
At 9 months DD's schedule was 7 - nurse/bottle 7:30/8 - breakfast 11 - nurse/bottle 12 - lunch 1:30 - small nurse/bottle 4 - nurse/bottle and snack 5:30 - dinner 7 - nurse/bottle
I would start by offering her a breakfast around 8/8:30 and that might push the bottles back and offering milk/formula with her meal or immediately before.

This is the spot we are in too. Even after having a huge lunch today, Layla cried for her bottle. How do I stop that? I think it is more of a security with her nap.
