He's an adorable dork, but I feel so bad for him that he can't just sit and eat lunch without paparazzi hounding him through the windows. All of y'all know what a huge Cumberbatch fan I am, but I feel like there are PLENTY of pictures of him at red carpets and photocalls and the like that I don't really need to see him catching the bus or whatever. It's so intrusive.

I pretty much feel this way about all celebs that are subjected to this behavior.

It's particularly interesting to see pull back shots of some of these photos and you can see how many people hound them for photos/autographs etc.

David Tennant comes to mind for being subjected to similar stuff.

One of the things about the internet is that it makes is easier to track celebrities.  A few days ago there was a big uproar in a tiny corner of the internet because a flight attendant who was assigned to escort Tom Hiddleston through the LA airport inadvertently revealed where he was headed for what presumably was a vacation.  I'm on a few fan pages and some of the followers keep constant tabs on celebrity locations.  Most of them are innocent inquiries, but the information is out there and it's creepy.
