Has anyone done this? I am thinking about signing up for my fall marathon. Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience/feedback before I signed up.
A couple of us here have just started with USAFit here in NY. It's only been a couple weeks, but so far I like it. We're in the half marathon group, but there are a good number in the marathon group. too.
I ran with them for a while. Its a great group-and Felix is an awesome head coach. They have all levels and coaches for each level (runners and walkers)-no one gets left behind, and is team-orientated. The group is pretty large-but the fall training group is a little smaller than the training program for Houston. They are water nazis-no hydration device, no run. It makes sense when you are running in our lovely heat and humidity. But you will be wearing a belt or handheld every run. The fall group starts at Lukes and then transitions to Memorial sometime in July if I remember correctly. And if you are with the fall group-you have different routes, starting times, and water stops than the group training for Houston. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks! I'm super scared, but think it's a good thing to stay on track. And thanks for the water info - I HATE running with water. HATE. So I know to be prepared!
