So the jerks i swim with all showed up in their wetsuits today.

The pool was 84.9 degrees.

No matter how many times they were told thats way too warm, they wouldnt take them off. They all lasted about 25 minutes and then left.

Jerks.

Urgh.  I wouldn't wear a weenie wrap ever, but put me in a heated pool in one?  No thanks!

Do you have *any* other options for a swim group?

That sounds miserable for them, but I'm glad for your sake they took off!

My only wetsuit experience is surfing related and they constrict my shoulders so bad I refuse to wear one unless the water is below 65.

This is by far the best option. They actually kept to themselves in one lane, so it was fine. Theyre just all so stubborn its funny. I thought it was too warm, and i was just in a regular suit, it felt like swimming in mud! Meanwhile, they all left the other day when it was 79, claiming it was too cold. I have a feeling theyll be showing up less and less after IMLP. Which is july, yeah?  

Its actually been better since my little meltdown. I think everyone else is just fearful of my mental state lol im normally calm and normal. Oh well.

Wetsuits?  In the pool?  

I can totally get on board with wanting to practice in what you'll wear on race day, but you don't need to swim regularly in what you'll wear on race day, and a wetsuit in an 80-some degree pool is ridic.  If they want to practice in their wetsuits so badly, go find some open water to swim in, dingbats.

I am annoyed (but laughing inside) on your behalf.

I would have laughed at them. You should also not wear a wetsuit in chlorinated water
