When I lived in CA, it always made me nervous to go hiking in the mountains when they had those signs the start of the trail. It didn't stop me from going out, but growing up in the midwest I never had to worry about predators when I went hiking!

I'm lol-ing at "Appear large". 

I have a fun one from this morning. I was running along the river, chatting with one of the guys in my group. All of a sudden there was bubbles & air sounds, and up pops a manatee! Right there, like a foot from the shore! I wish I ran with my phone.

Much cooler than mountain lions and snakes for sure!
