It'll take a while I would imagine. Without an active community there is not much incentive to stick around. If it was a dead board I would take a look then move on. But it will come back eventually I imagine.

I also think if we keep linking to this board, we can capture those newbies when they see TN is dead.

MM is dead, as well as P&CE and ML. Probably some others as well, but not every board is.

As I was told yesterday by pretty much every member of the board, Nest Book Club has no intention of abandoning the Nest and they think we're all crazy.

I think it will fill back in with new Knotties, but slowly.

This is what I would do too. I think it will take a while to build up the activity like it was.

Part of what kept me coming back to the message boards was the activity. If I were a new bride, there wouldn't be that much to keep me around after my wedding, because TN boards are dead.

I wouldn't hang out on a slow board, however maybe some of the boards that have stuck together will become more active over time.

I agree w/ others that a dead board won't attract posters. Unless an entire, active group moves over even if newbies find it they will have nothing to talk about/no one to talk to.
