Baby shampoo as anti-fog

I heard about this here from one of you....how does it work? Does it work better than anti-fog? How do you use it?  I've used anti-fog but it doesn't seem to last/work for me.  I'm doing Alcatraz next Sunday and would really, really like to be able to sight!

I put a drop of baby shampoo in each goggle lens, smear around, and do a really quick dip rinse to get any excess off, then put them on.

It works well, and is cheap and easy to acquire.

I used Foggle wipes last year. They worked pretty good.

I've heard of that but never tried it. I just use spit.

I have to be the only person in the universe who reacts badly to baby shampoo. I just dip my goggles in the water and leave a trace of water in them when I put them on. Then I shake my head a little to clear the fog from my goggles with the inside water.
