Dessert for pre-school graduation party?

P graduates pre-school/daycare this year (how is that possible?!?) and some friends are having a small party this weekend. Just 3 other families (16 people total - 8 adults, 8 kids), and they've asked me to bring dessert. Suggestions on something sort of fun and celebratory? But also something the adults would like? Alternatively I could make a separate dessert for the 4 "graduates".

And FWIW the daycare is holding an actual graduation, complete with cap and gown, the following weekend. So this is just a small, fun event.

Can you do a trifle of vanilla pudding, fresh berries, and pound cake? Kids would like that, it's pretty, and adults would like it too.

We have this a lot, but with whipped cream instead of vanilla yogurt.

Mmm... that trifle sounds delicious. That could be fun, plus the little graduation caps jennlin posted for just the 4 graduates!

I have to add, whenever I hear trifle I think of that Friend's episode when Rachel tried to make one and the recipe pages stuck together. Hopefully mine will turn out better
