And now I'm FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's ambitious (two 20 milers and a 22 miler), but I think smart (keeping only 4 days/week of running, strength training, reasonable mileage), especially since the bulk of it is during summer which means lots of time to recover and rest.
Now to find places to run downhill a lot to prep these quads.
Yay!!! (heart) Did you just revise the RW plan we both did? I started messing with mine the other day, but it quickly escalated out of control, and I had to step away. Lol
I need to go back & take a fresh look at it, but I am definitely doing the 2 20s & the 22 again. I really, really think that's what was missing from Chicago & Celebration, and why I felt so strong from beginning to end in Surf City.

I did start there! I had to relook at the hills/tempos days, since uphills scare me. Well, they scare my Achilles.
I'm ramping up the paces in my long runs (since I won't have the altitude thing working for me), and lots more Yassos and shorter tempos mixed with some longer MP runs on Thursdays...we'll see! I think as long as I can stay healthy, I can make this work.
Nice! I recommend compression capris or shorts to help those quads on race day. I've used them in all my hilly races (incl. downhill courses) and I think it helps a ton. You are going to have a great training cycle and rock that marathon!
