I hope this isn't too sensitive and if it is I GREATLY apologize.
DH owns an apartment and his manager (let's call him Jack) goes back to Laos, where he is from, each year. This year either he found, or a friend of his found, a dog tag and what they think is a human leg bone.
Jack brought photos of the dog tag and bone back with him and wants to see if he can track down who they belong(ed) to. He doesn't speak English terribly well, and isn't great at navigating the internet, so he asked DH to help him.
DH wasn't sure if they were even legitimate dog tags so he just sent me a photo for me to look at. They look legit from what I can tell, and have the person's name, his social security number (looks like he was born in New York), blood type, and religious affiliation.
I kind of think we should hand this over to someone in the military, but wouldn't even know who to contact. And I'm pretty sure the dog tags are still in Laos so we only have the photos to turn over. So WWYD?
