I'm looking at used wetsuits online (don't want to spend $200+ on a new one in stores) and I seem to be falling in a weird place on size charts.
I'm 5'4" and 145lbs. I'm looking at an Orca suit right now that says it's for a person of 135-150lbs and is 5'7" to 6'1". I'm also looking at another suit in the same brand that says 5'2" to 5'7" and 121 to 134 lbs.
Which is more important? The height or the weight? Or are there suit brands that would fit my stocky, muscular, structure better?

IMO, weight is more important. The one time I was required to wear a wetsuit, I ended up in men's large (5'5"+ and 185-210). I am 5'4" and was approximately 165 at the time. It fit fine.
Thanks for the advice. I ended up ordering a clearance Orca suit online. I was able to find a size that was somewhat close.
It was only $90, which is what I would have had to pay for two rentals in my city.
I haven't signed up for any open water races, yet, because I've never actually swam in open water. The lakes in my area are so cold that wetsuits are always allowed at races and often required, so I don't have the option to just go for a swim in a regular swim suit.
