I last used one when DS was 4 in Vegas. Mainly to get us through the airports and walking on the strip. We went to Disney at almost 5 and didn't use it.
DS is 4 and still uses a stroller. We go out with our jogger quite a bit, and when we're at the farmer's market we use the umbrella one. Shopping, he's in or on the cart. I don't trust him on his own.
DD is 2.5 and for the longest time we havent used it for anything other than long walks that turn into naps because she absolutely hates being confined.
That being said, I'd still bring one on vacation for a few years. My stroller holds up to 75 lbs so I can see myself using it in that capacity for a while. If all else fails, we could use it to hold our bags and stuff.

DS will be 5 in Sept. Until this spring when he became proficient at pedaling a big-kid bike (with training wheels) he was n the double stroller with DD most of the time because I walk for exercise.
Now, we will still bring the big double to something like a full day zoo outing, just to throw stuff in the extra seat if nothing else. But that way if DS gets tired he can ride. But day to day, he can either walk or ride his bike.
DS is 3.5 and we use one for situations where there will be a lot of walking. I don't see not using one as "making them grow up". Kids simply don't have the stamina adults do and for us, the stroller is more about making things easier for US. We don't have to carry him AND our stuff, he can crawl in and rest while we're still doing whatever we're doing, etc.
If he gets tired and approaching meltdown mode, chilling out in the stroller may give us that little bit of extra time we need.

DS is 3.5, and we still use it occasionally. I always take a stroller when we travel (mainly to contain him at the airport), and it's nice to be able to take a walk with both kids sometime without constantly having to remind him to keep up or not wander to close to the street. I see no reason to use a stroller at the mall since we aren't there all day, but I will take it to the zoo sometimes. He usually only rides in the stroller at the zoo while we're in the parking lot, so I usually don't bother.

18 months. DS has LOTS of energy. He walked a mile to the playground, played for an hour, and walked a mile home at 17 months, and he didn't even learn to walk until 15 months. He's bonkers.
I realized a few weeks ago as I took it out of the trunk of my car to walk to the store with DS that I hadn't used it in months. We use the wagon more for little trips from the house, shopping carts if shopping, and the sling for little jaunts. I don't really take him on long walks and he's too little to appreciate stuff like the zoo.
So I'm keeping it for now, but we aren't getting any use out of it at the moment.

DS still hops on the back of our stroller occasionally, and he's 5. It's not a sit-and-stand, but has a little step thing. He's small and lazy
Whether we take one when we travel, depends on our destination. DD is pretty good about walking, so sometimes we leave it home. If we were going to Disney or something, we would certainly bring it.

we don't use a stroller much at all for the twins (they just turned 3) but we certainly had one at Disney - my 5yo who had not been in a stroller for years passed out in the stroller at Disney every single day!
you can always rent strollers at places like Disney, etc - but yeah- i'd have one on a cruise for sure.
