South End Pediatricians?

Can anyone recommend a pediatrician in the South Seattle / Tukwila / Renton / Burien area? My midwives keep asking me if I've picked one yet and I haven't even started looking.

I don't have any specific recommendations but I would definitely choose one in close proximity to home. It sucks to have to drag a sick crying uncomfortable child in the car to a dr for an ear infection or something. 15 min drive door to door with traffic is about my max distance. That being said, there is Swedish west seattle pediatrics and a couple practices at valley med ctr. On a professional basis I have had good interactions with a couple docs at Seahurst Pediatrics which is in burien I think.

I have a fabulous pediatrician. Seriously the best. He's in Federal Way. I don't know if that's too far for you or not.

I was going to use him, but went with someone in their Tsvoma office.

I went to Dr. Mers and Dr. Greenfield by Highline Hospital (seahurst pediatrics) as a kid and would take this baby there in a heartbeat but it's kinda far. I never saw the third doc in the practice (they hired him once I was in college) but my sister liked him fine.

J's specialist is art that clinic (and the hospital, where we see him). Our ped is too far south for you, but if you are interested in a family physician in the valley medical center area I have a good rec. And I agree that as close to home as possible is ideal.

cdmay I will definitely take family physician recs! My husband and I are actually both in the market for PCPs, too.
