My mammogram showed a suspicious mass and I need to go back next Friday for a core needle biopsy. I'm signed up for a 5k on Sunday and nothing in the paperwork talks about taking it easy or anything after, but of course I went on Google and found a discussion page of people who had it done and most of them said they were very sore for the next week.

I had one and it ended up being a fibroadenoma. They had me ice it after I left but I was fine-maybe a little sore or tender. But all in all not too big of a deal. Good vibes going your way I'm sure it'll turn out to be nothing.

I was sore the day of and maybe a little the next day. I think you'll be fine for your 5k. I wore a compression bra and iced it, which helped. Crossing fingers for good results!
I have and had to have ice on it the day of. It was fine the next day so with a sports bra it was no problem to run. Sending good vibes your way. The whole waiting thing is tough.
