Nike Women's Half in SF

Just curious if anyone else is going to try and enter and what your thoughts are on how they run their website/fb page.

They keep saying "big changes" and I know there was a rumor that they were going to cancel SF, but they didn't.  They did get rid of the full marathon option and limited groups to 10.  Now they aren't confirming that the Tiffany necklace is the finishers award (apparently they did this at DC, as well an only confirmed it a month before the race).

So yeah, I will admit that I have no desire to do a half marathon and not get a necklace (I've done Nike twice and no other halves).  But, I finished in 3:02 last year. I really wanted to sub 3.  So now I'm torn about spending $180 (plus lodging etc) on this race just to try and PR.

I don't really run that much, but when I do train (I trained for the last one) I start to like it as I get better (go figure).

Thoughts?

I think you should run it. I love that race. I'm going to enter, so fingers crossed!
