Lurker on here, but you guys seem pretty knowledgeable.
I've been trying to lose weight for about a year now, but my weight loss has stalled. I'm 5'4" and 165 pounds right now. I've lost 10 pounds in the last year. I've very active (on my feet all day, and I exercise 5-6 times a week). I'm a runner, just ran a 10 miler, average 15-20 miles a week. I think I eat pretty healthy but my weight loss is stalled. I've done bloodwork and no issues. Started weight training about a month ago.
Typical diet. Breakfast: egg whites with either turkey bacon or 1/2 an avocado Lunch: big salad with protein (egg, tofu, chicken, beans), fruit, cookie Dinner: varies, but healthy - lean proteins and veggies, not much carb
I love beer but have cut back to 3-4 a week, mostly on weekends. I'd say I eat 1400-1600 calories most days.
I would like to drop 10-15 pounds but I have literally gained and lost the same 5 pounds (fluxuated between 168 and 163 for about 4 months now). What am I doing wrong?
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Are you eating 1400 calories total? It sounds like you burn a lot, so you're not netting very many calories after you factor in exercise. I had the same problem last year re losing the last 5 lbs. I was advised to eat more, about 200-300 more calories/day. I thought that sounded backwards, and I was reluctant to do it, but it actually worked.

I would agree with eating more, sounds like you are in too much of a deficit based on your activity level. I would go up to around 1800 minimum and see what happens.
