I'm a fitness instructor and teach between 15-20 classes a week, many high intensity. I eat, often, but when I have a block of three in a row eating becomes difficult. I've never tried gu or anything similar and am not sure that would be appropriate? What do you all eat when you can't really eat? I guess what I'm asking is, if eating will upset your stomach bc of activity what so you fuel with? I was in my third hour this morning and felt like I was going to fall out
I think Gu or something like Gu Chomps (gel blocks) would work well in a situation like that. I'd buy a some individual packs of Gu and other energy gel and see which ones you like best.
I'd definitely try a gu or some other kind of fuel like that. It can't hurt to try it out! I personally prefer sports beans because I like to spread them out over my runs, but that's not really a consideration for you I think. The non-fruit-flavored gu (peanut butter, etc.) are pretty good. The honey stinger waffles are really good but the one time I ate one it really upset my stomach (it was honey flavored I think).

I would probably try a banana or a Kind or Lara bar if I had a place to keep them. I eat Gus when I run, because they're small and easy to carry. If I was at a gym or a studio, I'd probably opt for something more like real food, but that's just me.
