...but I haven't spoken to him IRL since college so I'm gonna stay out of it.

He works in real estate rentals and posted about a woman who was interested in an apt and asked if they allowed dogs. He asked what kind of dog & she said German Shepherd. He told her that he wasn't sure of the condo association's rules but that the apt was too small for a dog that size anyway.

Well, apparently she put him in his place and he was all 'WTF lady?' in his status. I'm thinking, 'WTF yourself...she asked if dogs were allowed, she didn't ask to hear your personal opinion about her choice of breed or choice of living arrangements!'

But all his friend comments agreed with him...so then he throws in, for good measure, that at least it wasn't a pit bull. 'Not that I have anything against pit bulls, but you're a renter...WTF are you doing with a pit bull?!?' Whatadick.

The first part, I'd probably just roll my eyes and move on.

But the pit bull part? I'd be jumping all over him.

I've had to defriend someone because of shit like this. I responded very politely when she posted pictures of puppy store puppies about how they were cute, but a lot come from puppy mills and a lot of people don't realize. She kept deleting my comments and telling me she knows they come from puppy mills, she isn't stupid, but if she wants one she'll get one anyway! So I deleted her. And I kept is classy the whole time. She can be stupid somewhere I don't have to see BUT I'm glad I said something politely so she couldn't write me off as the crazy dog lady but also so it took the wind out of her sails re. her self righteous misinformation.
