I went to a class at one yesterday, its a gym that has classes incorporating both tm intervals and strength training. All the classes are structured differently so there's variety in both the tm and the strength part. It's new around here, the location I went to is the first one in Columbus...it's a great workout but too expensive for me to justify a monthly membership. Has anyone else been to one?
I haven't been but quite a few of my friends go on a regular basis and have nothing but positive things to say. They love that they can go in and get it done fairly quickly (I think classes are either 30 or 60 minutes?) and they say they are always drenched in sweat afterwards.
I joined one and love it. Classes are 60 minutes in length. I really like that I can get in, work out and get out.
The location I joined is brand new so the equipment and facility is all in great shape. I am seeing great results after 4 weeks.
I found the pricing comparable to yoga classes. If you find the monthly fees expensive they offer discounted sessions if you buy package. So you could purchase 10 classes at a reduced fee and use them as you like.
I do like the group training atmosphere, and I personally find I need that extra motivation.
