Pet Sitting- how much $$?

I have a dog sitter coming from next Sunday (22) through Sunday (29th). She will be staying at my place, I'll be filling the house with food, and she'll have both dogs. I've asked that she try to walk them at least every other day to keep them all sane She is a grad student who goes to school pretty close to my house (closer than from her house). My neighbor's dog sitter is willing to let them out once a day or so for a break.

How much would you pay? I feel like at least $300, but I know she will never say if it is too much/ not enough. FWIW- they have no medication/ medical conditions, supplements, behavioral problems, etc.

We pay $65 for each overnight stay and $40 for a few midday walks.

I'd expect to pay $50 per night probably.

I paid my dogsitter $250.00 for a 7 day stay at our house, I stocked up the food, beer and soda for him as well. I figured he is staying at our house, eating and drinking the food I buy and I let him also use the laundry and he is fine with all this.

Wow... that's way more than I pay mine. I pay about $25 a day and then a little extra "tip". We'll be gone for 5 days in August and I will pay $150, plus stock the house with food.
