Yay! Good afternoon! Thanks for keeping up the daily post :-)
I went to lunch with friends for Indian food. It was delicious but now I am sleepy and full!!! So much naan.....definitely planning to take it easy tonight!
QOTD: Yep, we religiously watch the Pgh Steelers play during American football season. Doesn't matter if it's a 9 PM game or 2:30 AM game, we'll watch it! I don't follow baseball or hockey over here, but would watch it if I was in the US.
Hey there. It's another workday during the day and then I am meeting a friend after work.
QOTD: I don't really follow American sports. I don't follow much of any sport closely. I might glance at a baseball game on tv. Of all of the standard American sports, baseball is probably the one I'm most inclined towards but even then only a little bit. I like anything with horses but haven't watched anything like that lately.
As for sports with more international appeal, I do follow a bit of tennis. I'll watch it a bit if it's on tv somewhere and I'm relatively up-to-date on the major players. I do follow some football though I'm not a rabid fan. I'm a longtime fan of Chelsea so don't hate me too much. I am looking forward to the World Cup as well. I don't get very nationalistic about it. I like watching some of the different teams. I have also been exposed to some of the various European cups. Basically, my ideal way to watch something like the World Cup is in a jovial bar/pub on a nice day with a good beer. I don't need to do that too often but now and then it is nice.
I was planning on doing a ton of work at the British Library today but I decided to do it on Wednesday instead. I ran to the gym, did some heavy lifting and ran back. The dog came home all wet so I blow-dried him (which he loves). I'm going to do some reading here and plan a bit more for research next week (I have two more papers to write for my CBT programme). I'll make some dal for dinner (nice and light) as we're going to a beer & chocolate tasting this evening.
QOTD: I try to follow the Philadelphia Eagles, but I'm not anal about it. I do watch field hockey and support the US women when I can see them.

Trying to get some work done and cleaning up our house. The photographer is coming on Friday to take pictures so it can go up for sale. Ack! So much to do still.
Hi. Today was like my Monday - it was a holiday here yesterday. We were in the garden most of Saturday with the lovely weather, chilled out on Sunday and yesterday we went to a garden festival here.
Today, it was a busy day at work (why I'm noting much these days). Got a call from the crèche at lunchtime and they told me another kid had bitten dd2 on the face. :-(
Busy week ahead of me with work. And I'm doing a 30 dat Ab Challenge! Let's see how long that lasts...

Late to my own question.
Tuesday was pretty good. It was off and on rainy, drippy, overcast, chilly and sunny. One of those strange late fall/early winter days. It was a lazy day on the whole, finished my book and did a bit of laundry. Even dinner was easy, leftover lasagne and the last of a limeade cake I made on Sunday.
QOTD: I'm a college sports fan -- football and baseball mainly, though I keep up with basketball enough to fill out a Final Four bracket for a poll at my old office. I stream the SEC football game of the week during the season. I keep up with the Saints, but not as a huge fan or anything. One of the networks here airs NFL games in the mornings, and I like it when the Saints games are on even if I don't see Sunday's games until Thursday morning. I'm a check the standings kind of baseball fan, mainly pulling for the Cubs, but I'll check how the Royals are doing too.
