I thought I would miss the other women because I was one of three people in the entire world who really enjoyed watching Jill, but the drama in this new season is so fun to watch!
I like the new housewives. I get tired of Ramona, though. In real life, you'd never take someone you don't like on vacation, so why is Ramona acting so upset about it? They obviously don't like each other. She wants to go so badly, then calls Heather fake and so forth. Team Heather. (although I think Yummy Tummy is one of the stupidest company names I've ever heard)
I recently read Carole's book (which was completely heart breaking-FYI) and I am even more in love with her! She's almost in a different league than these other women. First, she's connected to the Kennedy's, which is HUGE in my book. Second, she's a real freakin' princess. Third, she's had an accomplished news career with ABC news and has won Emmy awards. She's close with Diane Sawyer- also HUGE to me!
I just feel like she's had a life of substance beyond "What should I serve at my super fancy dinner party for my super fancy friends" and other superficial dilemma's our Housewives face!
i'm bored to tears with this season. ramona has always gotten on my nerves. aviva is so wishywashy and annoying. carole just grates on me for some reason. i don't mind heather or the countess (who is of course completely full of herself) but it's just not the same.
I also kind of find the season boring. I don't dislike any of the cast, but they just aren't really doing anything too interesting. Although that singer chick's performance at Avia's party was pretty freaking funny!
Carole had it really rough. Her husband had cancer, then her best friends Carolyn and JFK, Jr. died in that horrible accident, then her husband died. It's too bad. I think I Read her book a long time ago and found it very interesting.
She said something about how there were the four of them with all their dreams and plans, and then nothing. It's a shame.

I feel the exact same way about Carole. Love her.
Aviva comes off as desperate to fit in to me. She will say whatever just so everyone will like her.
I like Heather. I like that she stuck to her guns about not inviting Ramona. She seems pretty genuine.
I'm in love with this season. The New York wives have always been my favorite. Mario's impression of Jacques on tonight's episode almost had me in tears. Then last week with the singer that Sonya hired... Oh my god. Equally hilarious.
The previews for the rest of the season look incredible.
Let me just add that LuAnn is the most overbearing wench I've ever seen in my life. She started to become the Alpha Female last season during the trip to Morocco and has been going strong ever since.

Carole is cool and all, but she certainly knows it. I am surprised she did the show. It's not it's like the first season of Real Housewives so she had to know what she was getting herself into.
How does one go from being a princess, accomplished journalist, and bff with JFK Jr to being on RHNYC?
Because she has a book/project in the works and this is major publicity. Did anyone really know her before this? I knew her name, and had read some of her work, but really didn't know anything about her. I'd even had her book on my bookshelf for years, but had never read it until I started watching her this season. IMO, her involvement in the show is a very calculated move on her part and the producers part. They knew full well she would ruffle LuAnn's feathers and it seems to be working.
