Who's watching? I was surprised by some of the eliminations as I thought they'd keep the annoying contestants on for a bit like they did in previous seasons. Graham looks younger since he lost weight.
I stopped watching after last season when they advanced Krissy to third place simply for being a dramatic, obnoxious trashbag who couldn't stop running her mouth. The girl couldn't cook for shit.

I didn't watch throw the end of last season after they screwed James over. I almost didn't start watching this season, but it is still early and might stop.
It's still so early in the season so I don't have a favorite yet. I thought the girl courtney who won last night's mystery box challenge was annoying. Personally I was not surprised by the eliminations last night.

I forgot about how much I hated last season! So, obviously, I'm watching again. It's not that exciting, and Stephanie is annoying as osumelissa pointed out.

I called Luca winning pretty early in the season because of the way they portrayed him in the show (eager to learn from his mistakes, always the Nice Guy, drama-free, etc.), so it was very anti-climactic when he actually won. And by then I was tired of the Krissy bullcrap so I just wanted to get through the season and not watch again. I can't stand when trashy, nasty people get attention for their bad behavior, especially when more talented people were getting eliminated weeks and weeks before her simply because their personalities weren't as loud. If she wasn't such an attention whore then there's absolutely no way she would've made it into the top 10 or 20.
The constant re-hash of previous scenes after the commercial breaks annoyed me, too. We initially watched the show "live" and it was torture. Then we started DVRing it, and by the time we fast-forwarded through all the nonsense we got through each episode in under 20 minutes. Such a waste of time.
And the challenge that really left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) was when they did the fried egg challenge, and the judges went through the plates of eggs and threw all the imperfect ones straight into the garbage, plates and all. I mean, I know that there's realistically not much they can do with 60ish fried eggs other than pass them out to the crew once the scene ends, but it really pissed me off that they wasted food and materials like that without even thinking twice about it. Perfectly good and plates, thrown away just for the sake of drama.
And the actual cooking gets so little airtime. It's a contest to see who can be the most dramatic, obnoxious, pretty, whatever. Not a cooking competition. (Which is why "Chopped" on the Food Network is starting to annoy me as well, because the person who wins is always the person with the saddest backstory.)
