I need to lift weights. I'm not sure what/how etc to get to my goals. I am almost 99% sure that I have muscle imbalances that lead down the road to injury with running. So I need a plan to become stronger and more flexible. Basically, so I can run injury free
I have had a personal trainer before and didn't get much out of it, so I want to make sure I find the right one
Realizing I didn't post my question....durrr tuggy.
My personal trainer helped me so much. I asked my physical therapist for Recs, who asked the local running store. I was coming off a back injury and he helped me get back and further safely.
Honestly I was lucky, my guy was amazing (I only stopped because I moved). He mainly focused on triathletes but had no issue with taking my non tri self. He focused on me learning how to do it myself (the idea I would stay because I liked him, which was true). I still use the skills he taught me.
