Hey all! I'm kind of burnt out on running at the moment, so I'm heading to the lap pool tomorrow. I'm not looking to do water running, just simply swimming. Are there any specific workouts you recommend doing, or do you just kind of swim laps until you're tired? And if you just swim, how long do you usually swim time-wise?
As a side question, (kind of a TMI) are people going to look at me funny if I wear my spandex shorts vs a regular suit? I'm getting waxed next week, so no "maintaining" is happening this week.
I am by no means an expert. I only swim once a week for cross training. I usually do 2000 yards split up into 6x50, 5x100, 4x200 with 200 each warm up and cool down. It takes me like 45-50 minutes.

I did this last night. I loved the simplicity (I could remember it without writing it down) and yet it was a really good workout. I even added 1x400 at the end just to see if I could do it. Thanks for the workout suggestion!
Oh good! Nice on the 400. Once I get above 150 I start to feel like a drowning cat or something...I've got a long way to to on the distance front.
