I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow! That means 80-90% chance of survival in the event of early labor! Eeeep!
We had our first childbirth class last night. I'm the least pregnant in the group since we had a conflict with the July series. It was pretty general stuff so far, but I think it'll be good.
Other than that, I’m still trying to kick the last of this cold. I could easily sleep 12h/day, when I really need to get stuff done! I'm not hacking up a lung anymore, though, so I can deal.
12w5d...1st tri is almost over!! I have my next appointment tomorrow and I'm a little nervous but most excited! I cannot wait to see our little peanut!
We will tell more friends/family after tomorrow. I am still trying to figure out when to tell work and keep waivering between next Thurs and June 24th (I am on vacation and not back in the office til June 23rd, have an appt that afternoon). Part of me wants to let the secret out and the other part of me still has that "what if" feeling.
Also, I will need to have another follow-up conversation with my boss and figure out my long term plan. Originally I was planning to quit end of Aug and possibly consult Sept/Oct (2-3 days/week with some of it being from home). Now one of my projects is really pushed back and I might need to stay a little longer (although ultimately it is completely up to me and I can quit at anytime...I just don't want to leave them hanging and it will take a good 6 months to get someone trained, which we don't have). I have a proposal/solution and am hoping that he strongly considers it so we can get as much done as possible before I leave.
Feel better fasty! Ugh I can't imagine work stress on top of baby stress luv.
Had an appt today and heard the hb. 167!! It was 146 last time. Everything looked good and now I am waiting to get my cbc bloodwork.
They are now giving me phengren. I hope it works better than the zofran. I have lost 10.2 lbs. Had I known getting pregnant would help me lose weight I would have been even more excited...
27W! Today is DH's birthday. We're going out to dinner tonight with my parents and ILs, yay. Today also marks 4 weeks until I turn 30. Whomp whommppppp
34w4d and doing pretty great. My pubic bone and ligaments have started to hurt a lot, but it's manageable.
We had our first birth class last night, too! It's at the hospital we will deliver at, but it was pretty natural birth/less medical interventions centered, which made me happy.
And my shower is this weekend! I have 3 days off work and have so much SHIT to do around my house and yard that I have to stop staring at it and make myself do some of it. I just want to hire everything out and sit back and eat my ice cream (which I've decided that after having two bowls for breakfast today, that I can no longer keep it in the house....)
32 weeks. WOW! I have to get moving on everything that needs to be done before the kiddo arrives. I could realistically only have 5 or 6 weeks left. (DD arrived at 38 weeks.)
DH and I have opted to skip a childbirth refresher class next weekend in favor of a family trip to IKEA. There's no time for both, and we need storage solutions a plenty for our apartment in anticipation of another human being joining us with all of his/her clothes, diapers, etc. So, IKEA won.
Also, laziness wins today. Instead of commuting 45 minutes each way to a yoga class, I scheduled a private prenatal yoga class in my neighborhood for this morning. This way, I can manage to do at least a little bit of work reaching out for my next freelance gig, so I'll recoup the money, right?
10 wks here. Feeling less quesy. Insomnia is still bad. I'm going to pick up some unisom today.
Going to Florida on Friday and hitting the beach Saturday. I cannot freaking wait! Except I have a mountain of laundry to do and haven't packed a thing.
14W5D here. I have my first OB appt this Friday. Can't wait! I'll get another ultrasound and so excited to see them plus I have a million questions for the OB.
I've been trying to jog but every time I do it feels like the babies are jumping on my bladder. So been mainly walking. My mom and I are painting the nursery this weekend and then I soon will go find a dresser and order cribs! H was supposed to go fourwheeling this weekend but we had a horrible rain storm last night so it's flooded and cancelled. Oh well.

I have been feeling really good. I only threw up once this week and the heartburn isn't bad either!
I had my second anatomy scan this week (baby was moving too much the first time, so they couldn't get all the measurements). Baby didn't cooperate again, so I have to go in for a 3rd time, in 4 weeks. Yay for another peek, but boo for uncertainty.
I told H that this weekend, we need to start doing some prep. I did buy a 4 pack of onsies and several board books, so I shouldn't have much else to purchase, RIGHT?
ETA: Also, I definitely think that I have been feeling the baby. And we got more ultrasound pics and it is crazy to see how much more human it looks, even from 2 weeks ago!
Everything is going well, just counting down to my anatomy scan (two weeks from tomorrow!). I cannot wait to see baby again, make sure it's healthy, and find out if it's a girl or boy.
Eating is becoming a challenge, because real food no longer sounds good for some reason, especially meat. I'm constantly craving sweets and carbs. Today I ate a banana, a big bowl of watermelon, two cheesecake bites, a rice krispie treat, some frozen dark chocolate covered banana bites, some granola with dried fruit, and had white rice with my Chinese leftovers. Not terrible, but I need to cut down on the sugar :/ the GD threads on Got Pregnant are freaking me out.
I've been trying to jog but every time I do it feels like the babies are jumping on my bladder. So been mainly walking.
I ended up getting a special maternity belt for running around 14 or 15 weeks. Kind of like a jogging bra, but for your belly. That helped, but I still felt like I couldn't go further than about a mile without having to pee.

I wondered if one would help this early. I did jog last night though and didnt have the urge quite as much so maybe my body just had to get used to it?

I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow... and I have no idea how that happened. LOL Baby is a dancing freak, and my belly is growing at an alarming rate. I haven't gained a ton of weight (about 10-11 pounds), but I think this kid will be bigger than DD was at birth.
And, we decided against a doula. DH was so cute - he really wants to be the one to be there for me, support me, and help get me through labor/birth. It was really sweet. Especially since he feels like he got robbed the chance of being there for me with DD's birth (even though he deserved a medal for how amazing he was at that time). And, my hospital is super VBAC friendly and they have amazing nurses and their policies give you one nurse for your entire labor... so I'm okay with it. I will, however, hire her to encapsulate my placenta.
Also, we got final loan approval for our house... and we move in 2 weeks. I'm beyond excited, relieved, happy... yeah.
KaraOrNot, geez, what a little gymnast you have! What measurements can they not get?
picksthemusic, what a great batch of updates! I feel like my belly is growing exponentially these days! I've only gained about 2 1/2 lb since my last appt 3 weeks ago, so my gaining is pretty much on target, but I guess maybe I've just reached like a tipping point where everything seems gigantic and moving around is sooo much harder. lol

The first time, baby was moving too much, so they couldn't get the heart and spine measurements. This time, they got the spine measurements, but the ribs were shadowing the heart and baby wouldn't move into a better position, so they still need heart measurements.
Went in for blood work this week. Betas on Tuesday: 256, Thursday: 655 Progesterone on Tuesday was 30.
Doctor is really happy with the numbers. I go back on Wednesday and check both again. After that he wants me going in weekly to check my progesterone until 10-11 weeks. I have had both of my losses at that time, so he just wants me monitored closely until then. He said my pregnancy should be uneventful after that point. LOVED hearing that
Doctor is retiring the end of next week I talked to him about who to switch to, and he said he would send his wife or daughter to either doctor and I couldn't choose wrong. I need to decide by next week and he will get me set up with whoever I choose so I can go in for my first ultrasound at 8 weeks. I am so SO HAPPY that I got pg before he left. I feel so much better that I could talk to him and start with him, even if it's just for the next week.
I'm 10 weeks! Double digits We told H's family this week after my US. They're really excited. My family has already known for a few weeks. My nausea might be ever so slightly better in that I don't take Zofran everyday, just most days lol.
And a picture of the peanut! It's crazy how different the baby looks from our US 3 weeks ago!
