Yikes! My 7 month old it trying to stand

Hold me I think things are going to get interesting here.

DS1 didn't walk until after 1. DS2 is trying to pull up on furniture and he just got to a sitting position from his tummy. Yesterday he had his first bump from trying to stand holding on to the coffee table. If our house were bigger I'd get one of those baby gate systems so I could contain him safely while I throw a load of laundry in, or shower. No wonder he's not gaining a lot of weight lately.

Good luck! N was pulling up at that age and started walking at 9 months. By 1 he was running around like a madman. I'd start shopping for babyproofing items now!

Dd2 is 6 1/2 months and cruised along her crib rail yesterday! She pulls up on furniture and can let go with one hand and pivot on one foot. I didn't know they could do that this early. I've been meaning to post to see if anyone else is dealing with this. I'm not ready!

Fortunately, we have all the "stuff." DS1 is not quite three, so we're ready, but not KWIM?

DH has been "teaching" DS (6 mos) to stand in his crib by holding on to the rails. I told him to cut it out. I'm not ready! DS just started pushing up into a sitting position from his tummy last week.

My friend has an 8 mth old that is cruising. He crawls, rolls to his stomach to sitting, on one knee. It is crazy.
Layla (8.5mths) doesnt crawl and just sits by the table and moans to be put up to standing.

I am in the same boat. DD1 didn't even crawl until 9 months and started walking at 13 months. DD2 started crawling at 5 months, pushed up to sit at 6 months and a few days later started pulling up to stand. I am freaking out! I am supposed to have a few more baby proof free months!

I was so excited for DD to do all this new stuff and now that she does it I'm like 'ahhhh I wish I had enjoyed it when you weren't mobile." She's been pulling up since 6.5 months, crawling since 7 months, cruising since 8 months and walking with her push toys for the for the last couple of weeks. Yesterday she let go and was just standing there with nothing. Ahhhh!

My kiddo started doing this at 6 months and was walking by 9.5. Good luck!

Yep, same here! My first walked at 13.5 months - my dd was standing up at 7 months and walking at 9.5!

I think when they have a big brother or sister running around they get the idea earlier. Good luck!
