Oh god, Yassos. I am not looking forward to the prospect of doing those again (if I do decide to race the Columbus half in October).
My AW-I got up at 3:45 in the f'ing AM yesterday morning to meet some of the ladies from my local MRTT (Moms Run This Town) chapter at 430a for a run. I kept up with two ladies who run the pace I ran BEFORE I had AJ (meaning faster than what I'm currently used to) and didn't die. Plus we had chocolate milk after, then I got to lose my mind loving all over the host's two labs
I got asked to coach girl's cross country. There is no way that it would work with my schedule and it isn't like they have folks beating down the door for the job, but I was pretty excited just to be asked.

I got a 5k pr (29:53) last night with my running team/group. I also joined the group officially last night. And got a shout out by the director for my pr in the weekly fb race recap. I love running.
This my be more of a first-world-problem than AW (or both): my hair is so silky and smooth after getting a "Malibu treatment" when I got my last haircut that it's hard to keep my hair in a ponytail.
That crazy hilly duathlon I did several weeks ago sent me an age group medal yesterday. I had no idea I got an age group award. Granted there were only 5 in my age group but still...it's one for the record books for me! I laughed when I opened the package.
I also got a 5k PR yesterday! I wasn't even going to run but our stupid pool decided to not be open when it was supposed to be, so I decided to run a hard 5k instead and PR'd just running around our neighborhood!

I ran 5.3 miles at less than 10 minute mile pace tonight. It was on the treadmill because it was 90 degrees and super-humid, but this is still huge for me!
I went to track practice and did the entire workout without complaining!
I finally saw paces that start with a "5" which is not something I have seen for a long time.
I see 5s.....when I'm doing 200s! LOL!! I'm guessing your speedy butt was going 5-6 times as far. Awesome job! Big day for you! Kick ass track AND YouTube sensation.
Can you see the picture? The indentions on the side of her abdomen.
Sorry
LOL. I just didn't know if you could see the pic (sometimes people can't, depending on how they're viewing the board) to guess what she was talking about. Like she said, she made up the term, I just knew what she meant.

We got DH's first paycheck since his promotion. I did a bunch of shopping last night. I've worked hard being his support person all these years, I feel like I earned it too!
I am admittedly horrible with pacing. This morning I got up at 430 to get my long run in since I won't be able to do it this weekend and ran 6 miles at a 9:12 average-with miles ranging from 9:09-9:14. Holy crap!!! I'm notorious for the first mile being 9:30, mile six being sub-8:30.
It felt...easy. It's amazing what pacing can do LOL
