lol. She's a bit of a weirdo. I still love her music though. I only found out about her a year ago but her music and style is very appealing to me, with the whole California 1960s vibe. She's very pretty and in interviews seems like a nice person.
I heard a morning interview with her and found her to be kind of a bitch. And not in a good way. It made like her music less.
oh really? That sucks! I try to keep music and people separate but a nasty personality makes me like someone's music less.
I think she's high a lot of the time because all of her music seems to center around being drunk, high or partying. But Scotty, funny you mention that. I told my DH next year when we got California we have to play Lana Del Rey when we drive down PCH. He was like, "Who?"
when she was asked if she was a feminist. I have no idea what it means but I still like her. Her music is brainwashing me.
“For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept,” she says. “I’m more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what’s going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities. Whenever people bring up feminism, I’m like, god. I’m just not really that interested.”
Is she trying to imply she's bff with Elon Musk? Lol. And I don't understand why a person can't be interested in both feminism and our future in technology/space exploration, etc.

That's the kind of bullshit answer I give when I don't want to sound like an idiot about something I have no idea about. So basically she wanted to avoid sounding like an idiot by sounding like a bigger idiot.

Right? I've read her answer 3 times and still can't make the connection. "I'm not into the womenz lib stuff but OMG space travel!" Oh Lana. Maybe it's best I just listen to her music.
