After my ridiculous race on Sunday in 98 degree heat, my coach is encouraging me to get acclimated to the heat as much as possible, even when doing non-workout activities (ie: driving with windows down instead of air on in the car).
So I've been leaving my air off during the day (I work from home) and I'm currently still working, in my loft office, and it has GOT to be 85 degrees up here. It just hit me at how stupid this probably is.

I just ate way more than I intended to (for lunch) because I went to McDonalds and found out that they brought back the hot mustard. So my 4-piece McNuggets *may* have turned into a 10-piece. And I'm considering having them again for dinner. Yummy hot mustard, how I missed you. (Is that a baconator?)
H&F related, I have been crapping out on my training swims WAY more than I should, but I'm burned out with the amount of teaching and coaching I'm doing (on top of my REGULAR full-time job) and I just can't bring myself to get into the pool when I should. Le sigh. How do I motivate myself to swim long distances in too-warm water in too-warm air temperatures with too many people around?
another random. i should know this - but clseale, can you instruct on how to insert the awesome gifs?
I haven't figured out how to do it on my phone yet, but on a computer, you right click & copy the image code, then you just click on the little picture icon on here, and paste the code into that.
Sign me up for an Oreo fairy, CallingAllAngels ! What an awesome thing to have!
Another random, I just got my Runner's World, and this month's Rave Run is the Pathway of the Gods in Positano. Wheeeee! DH will be hiking that very path in 3 months!

I usually image search, gif & then whatever reaction I'm going for. So, as an example, excited gif. One of my coworkers uses (since our brand & social media teams frequently just communicate via gifs lol) reactiongifs.com
I went to spin yesterday. We took our baby to the playground and put her in the swing for the first time today. I really need to get my act together so I'm ready for Kiawah. I'm drinking Prosecco now - so starting tomorrow
Our entire school (600+ kids) went on a walking field trip for an event. Then, my grade walked to the beach, played, had lunch, played some more and then walked back to school. We arrived 5 minutes before last recess and the kids didn't even want to go outside they were so tired. But I made them!
Until this exact moment when I saw your IG post I thought you were talking about your bike this whole time. H&F has eaten my brain apparently.
It took me a second to realize we were not talking about a bike flat too. Especially since someone posted recently that in New England (or somewhere?) AAA was making bike calls to certain locations.
Ha! I forgot about this! I should have been more clear.
I see a lot more flats on my bike than my car, that's for sure.
This is more of a bitch than a random, but I just got back from 6 miles in 94% humidity. ::insert clseale's not impressed/angry face here:: Ugh. It's the same weather for my 12 tomorrow morning.
